7016 ?

My AC 710 - same series as Simplicity 7016 - has a flywheel alternator and separate automotive style starter. Would it depend on the model year?

Come across one that is available?

That size/series is a favorite of mine. I have a 716-6 speed, and a 718H with a briggs transplant. Smaller and a lower seat than the 7100/900 series. On my hills it gives me a little less pucker :D

Better turn radius also. I have all the parts to swap a hydrolift setup into the Sundstrand. Its the one thing it lacks. power steering would be overkill (but not it I could get it cheap ^)

my 7016 has a kohler setup, I use it mainly for lawn sweeping, very quick with responsive steering, seems alot lighter than the 916. My plan was to put a deck on it so the bride could help with mowing chores, probably not gonna happen.

I drug home a very rusted 7016 a couple years ago because the 42 snowblower looks to repairable. Looking for a ing switch for my loader tractor :gilson" Thought about it last nite after dark so I asked instead of looking, now I'm in Anchorage with time to think on it.

The 7016 could have had either type of starter. Mine is a late one and has the gear type starter from factory.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
