got 'er goin'

Recommended Posts

I was severely disappointed when I got home from work last Wed night and had 10" of snow in my yard, and I fired up my 416H and blower that has a 18HP magnum. I just had her nose outside the shed and she quit, and would not start. So I jumped on the 310 with a blade and 2 hours later I had a fairly good job done.... had lots of fun.

So Saturday I decided to find out why the 416h would not start. Poured a pinch of gas down the carb and she fired and ran a bit. So I pulled the fuel line off below the inline filter and had lots of flow. So very gingerly I dove in and pulled the carb off. Cleaned it up on the outside then started dismantling the carb. Everything appeared clean but noticed that the needle valve was stuck in. So cleaned it up blew lung air through everything and put it back together.

She cranked over a few times and fired up and ran good. I took her out and blew the snow I had pushed into a pile and never missed a beat.

I call that beginners luck!!

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
