GREASE FITTING AT TRAN

I have a yeoman 627 rider that i just picked up and got it running thanks to this site. was wondering is there a grease fitting where trans and main tractor swivel. this is my first simplicity tractor thanks in advance BOB

Bob, could you post a pic of this Yeoman 627 in the gallery please. Perferably with it in max swivel position..thanks..mph Just went back and looked at your post #5394 with the pic of your nice looking 627. Looks like a regular tractor, how much does it swivel? does it help the turning radius quite a bit??

Hi Bob,I have A 717 that swivels and I never did find a fitting.In fact the bearing is worn in mine.

Except for the first 6HP Broadmoor, all Serf, Yoeman and Broadmoor series should have a rear pivot grease fitting (unless it is broken off). You really need to remove the deck and get under there to see them if you are not familiar with their location. As I remember there is a cross brace between the frame sides with a round hole in the middle - the fitting is inside this hole.
