Im getting ready to reassemble my trans. I had to take it apart to change the right side case due to a chunk chipped out around the axle tube oil seal. it looks like their is grease around the bearings on the top input shaft and around the reverse gear but I cant tell if its grease or just sludge from the gear oil. does anyone know it the factory greased these bearings and if I should re grease them. Remeber this is the top input shaft way above the oil level. any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
