Front Tire Removal

Recommended Posts

Made easy

Why it took me this many years to come up with this brainstorm I don't know. Maybe because my Simplicity rims don't have the two half inch holes to drop a bolt through to keep the rim from turning. They will next time I remove one.My vice is a 6 inch, any smaller the hole would need to be closer to the hub.MAYBE 10 min/tire. Though I must addmit to cheating a little, I had the local tire shop break the beads, for 5 bucks.

AHH HAAA! What would they have charged to pull the rubber at the same time?

I like your idea though!

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
