New Wheel Wts

MPH

Recommended Posts

Since I left mostly sand outta my loader wts removing them I dug up my last heavy round irons I scored years back and turned them into two 60lb each wts. Then I added a 25lb wt lifting disc to the outside. To late for a test drive in the snow tonight.

Hoping 85lbs on each wheel is enough, but the bolts are long enough for one more wt lifting disc.

Slick Marty, I know I can't wait to test drive the 28# weights now on my 4212LTG.

Stay warm,

Nice! Was the center hole big enough to clear the axle on the one side, or did you have to enlarge it?

Brett, that wasn't a problem on this Gilson as this is what the hub is like on both sides

You have me wondering now how they fit on the 64LL and the B-112, will have to check it out as I don't recall reaming out the center at all. The center hole is 1 and 7/8 inches, I used a hole saw to cut a plug to drop in to make finding center easy.

Ahhhhh. I see. These are on your loader tractor. You can use every bit of the weight for sure.

Nice job Marty...When I did my Loader project I found that Kwik-Way recomended 300lbs of rear counterweight.

I had 100lbs of fluid in my rear tires and 100lbs of rear weight & hydro tank and 50lbs wheel weights = 250lbs...but with ME on the seat its not a problem :D
