simplicity 700

I live in the State if Washington. Must not be to many tractors out here. The information on the engine, which is a B&S, is: model 19; type 706035; serial#621965. It has a sicklebar, mower deck, snowblade, tiller and is set up for rear duals. Any info as to year etc would be appreciated. It does/will run once I get the carb figured out. sounds like I may have to replace it.

Dsims, welcome to owning one of these fine ole machines on the wrong end of the country, seems most of them stayed east of the Miss r. With a sicklebar and rear duals you found 2 rare items. If you go to the simple trac site and click on links you'll find a briggs site. I don't recall the exact steps I took but there is a listing of serial # for engines made before '65, if your lucky you'll find yours. If I have time later I'll try to find it and post it tonight. mph

Thank you very much! I do not know how this tractor ended up out here, but from the beginning I suspected it was tied in with Monkey Wards which we do have out here. Thanks again Dave

Dave, wards did sell Simplicity trractors as a Garden Mark Squire in the early 60's.. If you go to the the Simple tractors site and look in the gallery under mix-match there are a few pics, if you haven't done so, Les has a very informative history section well worth reading. found a 64 landlord 60 miles from Tok Alaska this past summer, wonder how things get where you find 'em???have fun with your 700...mph
