Hard to find?

since trying to hook up my leaf vacuum I have been on the hunt for a double pulley for the BGB, for my B-110. Also the deck adaptor. I was thinking of making a deck adaptor for it out of sheet metal. Is it worth making one? Or does anyone have one they'd like to part with :P so far no luck with the pulley or adaptor XX(

You could make the adaptor out of most anything. I think sheet metal would serve for maybe a season, and then begin to rust out or through. The inside would be similar to being sand blasted.

Something made out of a nylon type sheet plastic or a heavier gauge sheet steel, welded, would be the way to go. Or, just keep yer eyes open in the classifieds, Craigs, or fleabay! 8D

My brother made an adapter from tin duct work. I think it worked for 3 years before he sold the tractor. Of course, that was on a Sears, and he only used it for spring and fall clean-ups.

As for the pulleys, I didn't think there was a "double" pulley for the BGB, just add a second one beside the mower drive pulley.

I think he's talkin about hte double pulley for the early vac and generator, on the drive side of the BGB, not the PTO side. I had a few, and think now I'm down to one. They ar out there, but most folks haven't a clue what they're for.
