Only Took 30 or So Years...

for me to learn how to mount these large ring wheel weights that I picked up in the early 80's:

You mount them on the inside:

Just enough clearance for the differential when mounted:

And looking from the side, you'd don't even know they are there:

Old dogs (and men) can learn new tricks!

I like!!!

Very useful and doesn't spoil the looks of those cool wheels 8D

Bill you mean to tell us those have been sitting unused all this time? Glad you finally figured it out....cuz I didn't know either sm00

Greg,I've used them most years in the winter but mounted on the outside as can be seen in this pic:

Over the years I picked up other weights that fit inside the wheel to avoid the extra width and bolt ends that tend to snag things when mowing. I didn't want to use them on the 75th.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
