HB212 Hydrolift and 36"HD Tiller Question

I picked up a 36" HD Tiller and put it on my HB212 today. Tested the raising and lowering and after a bit I noticed a "whirring" sound coming somewhere from the left of the fill plug. Raising was slower(which I expected due to weight) and the sound seems odd.

My thought is belt slip? Any suggestions? Raises and lowers the 32" tiller fine. I'm gonna add my front counter weight.

The rear lift seems to be hardly working at all, on any hydrolifts I've used for tilling. It shouldn't be slower to raise than any other use. It should be quite quick and mine make nos sound whatsoever. Is your pump belt slipping?

You should be able to see the pump pulley change (slow) it's spin when you put the lift inder a load. The sound and symptoms you describe would be my first indicator. Or, just give that belt a sqqueeze by hand, to see if it's limp/loose.
