Tiller extension questions

Recommended Posts

Ok I'm fairly certain this has been covered somewhere along the line, but my search did not answer my questions.

I'm looking for the length of the tiller extensions. I ask this as I have some leftover tiller parts from a scrapped tiller, I can easily add the tines to my tiller, however they are much shorter in length than what's on the tiller and seem short. I forgot to take a photo or two but I'll do that tomorrow.

Of course the model number of my is missing in action so no help there in looking up parts.

Reed, I don't have any measurements, just guesses but...Looking at this picture.. If this is a 36" tiller, the extensions don't look to me to be more than 4 or 5 inches long.Besides, doesn't a 36 with extensions become a 42 ??? only gaining 3" on each end ??

Thanks all, guess I need to think about this now. The 3 inch extensions end up with tines that are awfully close together whereas a 5 inch extension is much closer to the spacing between the inner and outer tines. :o

Dan how about a look under that tiller?

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
