KT19 Series 2 - Dimensions

Recommended Posts

I'm hoping someone may have a KT19 S2 torn down at the moment.

I am taking a 3D modeling class and have to create an assembly drawing for a final project, what better than the Camshaft & Valves exploded view as shown in the engine parts manual. The final project is to show the use of several features with the CAD program, the drawing does not have to be dimensionally correct, but it does need to be visually correct. Although I have this engine, I hope to avoid having to take it apart to get a few dimensions.

Can anyone easily provide:

Intake & Exhaust Valve Head Diameter, Shaft Diameter, and OAL.

Tappet Head Diameter, Shaft Diameter, and OAL.

Spring OD's and Length

Camshaft OAL, Gear OD and width, Lobe Size, and Lobe C to C.

With these, I'm pretty sure I can create the rest to fit.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I can get some of your measurements and will try to do so tomorrow. I have a KT19 II on the bench as we speak, but I am not splitting the block.

Any measurements you can easily get would be great. I figure the exploded view is close if not exactly to scale. A few key measurements may be enough to get me going.

Good suggestion. I will download and see what I can find.

Thank-you both for your help.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
