You may not have the correct amount of washers in the stack causing you to run out of threads above the pulley. Does it turn at all or just tight. New bearings won`t spin, but will turn.

If it has correct parts according to the parts manual try putting a washer between the pulley and nut. If it won`t turn at all I would look at parts manual and see what is missing.

There are a couple of washers that are exactly the diameter of the inner race, and those are critical so that when you tighten down you are tightening the stack against that inner race only. Otherwise it will bind up against the entire bearing surface and will do what you are experiencing.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
