Looking to put a stack on my 416h

Recommended Posts

Ronald Hribar

keep stack short so it does not get caught in branches

keep stack as light as possible

and it will need a brace from stack to motor

keep in mind that stack will be hot

small children like to put hands on it

and adults forget it is there

and burn face and arms .

a rain cap is nice, but noisy

They do look cool, but between the rattly rain cap, burn danger and constant exhaust in the face I went away from stacks and went back to under hood exhaust with either stock mufflers or close to stock to keep it quiet. Good Luck with your stack. The Allis muffler and IH cub mufflers from Tractor Supply/Rural King work well if braced with a bracket to keep weight from bearing on the engine block casting. Mike

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
