simplicity coronet 9 (8.5 HP) starter gear ???

does anyone know how to find a starter gear for a manual transmission Coronet 9 (8.5 HP)....

the online parts sources diagrams and the simplicity manuals do not show any engine parts...???

You could take it off and take it to your local dealer.

Most starter gears are stock items.

I might be able to look it up if you have model type and code (if its a briggs) I don't have kohler books.

there are several options, steel or plastic gear? how many teeth?

I also have a couple NOS plastic gears in stock, for briggs, but I don't know the part numbers, would again need the tooth count, and a picture would help.

Edit: I guess Ray beat me to the keyboard :D

Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work.
