Sundstrand Hydro conversion-Hydraulic question

Kent's got it easy in comparison, he doesn't have a Sundstrand equipped with a hydro lift. Got all my control linkage done and the brake linkages as well. I'm interested to see how Kent hooked up his PTO, as it looks a little tight for what I would like to do which is run it inside the frame . Now I need to ask a question regarding the hydro lift before I go to cramming all that into my 3012's already tight compartment. Can I take the hydro lift control valve and turn it 90 degrees back towards the operator so that the control piston is facing the tractor rear instead of straight up?? Will it work as normal in that position?[A href='http://albums.photopoint.com/j/AlbumIndex?u=1778704&a=14026481&f=0']http://albums.photopoint.com/j/AlbumIndex?u=1778704&a=14026481&f=0[/a]

Here's how I hooked up my PTO. I'm still working on the shift linkage -- I have it temporarily mounted, but it is blocking my original parking brake slot...
