Starter Generator Help

Recommended Posts

Tonyvdb

In putting the engine back into my 3410, I can't recall which terminals the red and black wires goes on the starter generator. I would think the black goes on the Field terminal and the red goes on the Armature terminal. I don't know if they were connected backwards if it would short out the SG or not. Anyone have a picture or know which goes where? Thanks

BLT

Go to the regulator and work forward. The terminals are marked there.

Also the body of the motor should be stamped "A" and "F".

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
