Walbro WHG carb needle valve replacement

Recommended Posts

DMKNLD

I'm cleaning and rebuilding my Walbro WHG carb off of my K321 , and it looks like I have an older style float that doesn't have the plastic groove piece that holds the needle valve, just a small metal plate where the needle valve spring hooks to it. Is it worth it to replace the float also or just put the new needle valve spring in, and if so, does the needle valve spring hook to to the plastic or the metal plate of the float? Should I replace the welch plugs or maybe just seal them w/ acrylic nail polish as some people suggest ?

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
