Lift lever push button replacement

missing the lift lever push button on my 3410 tractor. are these available or do i have to replace the whole center rod ?. are they pressed on ?

Perry, the rod is only threaded as far as the button, so it tightens down on the end of the threads without using a lock nut. If there are no threads at the top to put your thumb on, it probably broke off.

I have a couple extra handles around, I'll see if I have one the right length.

Apparently there are a couple styles.First is my 3414 with the threaded hex button, notice how far down in the handle the rod and spring starts.Then I have this other handle off a 712. It sticks out like yours, has a plastic button that slides on and no spring.So Perry, I think you need the plastic one :o:OSend me an address, I can afford a stamp. LOL
