couple of simple tricks, got any?

First, I have one b12 where the gearbox sticker (1,2,3,R) is worn off. While I just could go the easy way and write the numbers on the panel or get a new sticker I have an easy memory trick to remember where reverse is (keeps you from running into the wall when parking)

Just remember

Rear, Right=Reverse

(for any boaters it may seem close to the Red, Right, Return for remembering which side to keep the red can on when in channel)

Reverse here

second easy trick, I like to keep my belt with the pulley when removing attachments. One pulley= one belt, so that is easy but for example, the rear pto has 2 belts, as things stretch and wear you have to take an extra second to measure and fit and at times use the wrong belt. 2 zip ties make it easy to keep the belt with the correct pulley for storage

Got more but I cant think of any atm

For storing a belt WITH the proper pulley, I slide the cardboard that came on the belt down to secure the pulley. That way, everything is labeled. It's also easy to hang from a nail.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
