3410 Custom Headlights?

Recommended Posts

Rick3410

I'd like to put some headlights on my 3410 landlord but don't want to pay the price they're getting for the used ones (usually they come with at least two of the bulbs that don't work). Eventually I will probably restore a pair of originals but for now, I need some lighting and I'd like the install to look good.

Has anyone out there added custom lights to their 7000 series tractors and could you share a pic to give me an idea which way to go. Thanks, as always.

This is excellent for a restoration. I'm planning on that for a winter project. Thanks for the link. I'm looking for a short term fix to hold me over.

Do you have the OEM buckets that the bulbs in the link above go into? If you are just looking for a couple of utility lights Tractor Supply Co. (TSC) carries them. Nice tractor by the way.

No buckets yet. That's the primary reason I'm waiting until winter to do this right. I've seen the lights at tractor supply and am leaning towards installing a pair of those. I'm just not sure what the best style would be (rectangular, large round, small round?). I was hoping that if someone had photos of their mods it might give me and idea of how it will look.

Great mod, Rod. When I do my winter restoration, I'll definitely reference your work. I'm still looking for a short term solution.

For better or worse, here's the way I went with my temporary headlights. As you can see, I used only original mounting holes from stock lights so when I get the correct ones, I will still be stockk.

You could always do what someone did to this AC 412S. Yes, Martha, those are automotive sealed beams, they are handy for cutting your grass at midnight!;)

Yeh, I know it's not the greatest, but I now have light and it only cost 20 bucks. Stock buckets and bulbs are pretty expensive and they'll most likely require rebuild. At a minimum they'll need paint and I'll never match the hood. Best to wait until I do my winter rebuild. For now, these should be fine.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
