Tree Planting

Had the BigTen help me plant a tree tonight. This Purple Beech is the 61st tree I have added to my property in the 11 years we have been here. I want a Silver Maple next and that will be my last planting. We have also added about 20 flowering shrubs....Dave

:D:D Jeff; I already get lots of keys from my 6 soft maples. A few more won't make much difference...Davesm06sm06

Nice job Dave...I love planting too. To begin something that will go one long after I'm gone seems very cool 8D

I have 3 Soft Maples so I'm very used to the annual "helicopter seed" invasion too. My new thing is planting edible tree & bushes (apple, pear, peach, blueberry, etc.)

I helped my Dad plant a Tri-color Beech in his front yard as a very young man and 40 years later its a majestic 50 footer. That will be the pride of the property someday.:)
