A.C. 300 series mule drive

Recommended Posts

The front mule drives between 300 and 400 are completely different. The 400 has a tensioner and adjustment built in, the 300 do not, they are in the manual engagement lever, or bolted to the frame. The 300 mule drive is the width of the frame and is bolted on with 4 bolts, the 400 is much narrower than the frame and sort of hangs on the frame and has 2 pins that secure it.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
