Leaf vac / chipper parts

Recommended Posts

Brettw

Picked up a Simplicity 8/25 chipper-vac in pretty good shape. It needed a battery for the electric start and not much else. The few issues I found were easily corrected except one item. The three speed gearbox stays in one gear because the shift cable appears to be broken. A fairly easy fix except I cannot find a parts manual. Every model number (and there are a number of 1692585, 2374, 2373, 2566, etc.)I use on the Sim site just keeps bringing up the 8 horse Briggs engine manual. Any ideas or information on parts for this unit?

Thanks in advance for any help.

The prices on that site are always high, take their part number and check Jacks or somewhere else.

Great site for looking things up though

When I put the model number into the Simplicity Manuals page, the first Illustrated Parts List was for an engine, but the other two pulled up the part manuals listed above

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
