Got my 1st Simplicity trailer & some good picking

Recommended Posts

This is what $120 and a 3hr Sunday drive got me...I was asking about this on the "Whats it worth" forum, Thanks guys! This is my 1st Simplicity yard trailer. (grew up with an AC one) The only problem I found is the little hitch tab broke off so the PO drilled & pinned it to his tractor sm00. I can make an original and weld it back on.

I like the plow. I have one just like it! I left mine as found and it make real nice garden art!

The trailer looks like it had very little use....VERY NICE!..I am sure that you will have it looking brand new in no time at all.

dOddOd Cart is in nice shape Greg. Price was fair. Can't understand people who won't repair things properly. If he didn't have a welder I'm sure a shop would have done the repair for a very reasonable cost. Rest of your picks made for a good day by the looks of them.....Dave

Very nice pickin' my friend. Where would you find new wood handles for a cultivator like that? My dad has a similar one with a broken handle, broken by me when I was a kid. I used to have a ball working the garden with that thing.

I'll cut the shape from a yellow pine 5/4" treated deck board with a jigsaw then whittle/shape/grind/sand the handle areas till I get the shape/feel I want. I wish I could find some good hickory boards...but $$ sm00I have another one with the 5 tine cultivator attachment on it and another type with a spikey drum wheel on the front...I never use my little mini-tiller anymore. The oldtimers knew how to make GOOD garden tools that work VERY well.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
