Weedcutter Reassembly-FINISHED!!

Recommended Posts

Well I got the parts back from paint today. With a little luck I'll have this baby up and running and cutting my clover food plot for the deer on Saturday or Sunday.

I'm starting with the Simplicity Cutter and will move to the one off AC cutter next.

Looks awesome! They sure are a 'simple' design. There really isnt much to them...but man, do they cut!

Those blades are original and still sharp! I also got a spare set with the unit and also have a set for the yellow cutter.

Great looking job but it is just not fair that you have two of these and some of us have none:(! Is one of these going to be for show and the other as a user?

I had originally intended just to have the Yellow Weedcutter done and keep the simplicity in its rough shape and keep as a worker. It was so rusted that it needed restoration. So I ended up doing them both.

I don't show the tractors really so I'll probably get rid of the simplicity unit.

Only draw back is I only have one correct hitch. I am going to try and find a snowblower hitch from a club member to see if I can get that to work on the simplicity.

Weedcutter 1 is complete and tested! Holy Crap does it rock!!!!! I had to test it so I fired up the headlights and hit the tall grass next door and she functioned flawlessly. With new bearing she purrs like a kitten.

Thanks guys. If the rain holds out I'll have some action photo's of the Simplicity cutting a 1/2 clover food plot that I put in a few years back for the deer.

Need to keep dinner well fed:D

More shots of the AC weedcutter hooked up. Will need to make a minor adjustment to the snow blower hitch but it should do the trick.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
