Sleeve hitch usage

Recommended Posts

A "Sleeve Hitch" is to garden tractors what the three point hitch is to the larger tractors....a universal way to adapt implements to the tractor. A Sleeve Hitch is a single pin connection that provides multiple attaching points (3 mostly) for certain attachment alignment such as moldboard plows. A Sleeve Hitch has a bail that usually pivots on each side of the tractor draw bar. Attached to the bail is some sort of lifting arrangement.

Here's a video of a sleeve hitch in action with a tiller attachment.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2HoIhjqUTMQ

Rick, that hitch on the tiller is actually part of the tiller itself. More of just a hitch than a sleeve hitch. You can`t attach anything else to it.

Yes, you are correct. Picked the wrong video. The pictures you put up are great. Are you making these parts yourself?

Yes, I make them. The top one is no longer welded at the front corners it is bent at the corners like the originals.

Dan Poeppelman(PeppyDan), makes them as well.
