B-212 Hydrolift Interchange?

I found a B-212 Hydrolift for a good price, but really don't want to fool with a variable after reading some Posts. However, will the Hydrolift work on my B-110? Could the Rearend Trans and bevel all swap if needed?

The hydro lift will swap right over as is.

The other parts will swap but there are differences. You would have to use the 110 sideplates because the 110 is short wheel base and the 212 is long wheel base. there for, you would need to keep the 110 lift rod, shifter rod and clutch rods

Also, the tranny input shaft and bgb shafts are longer for the variable, but still keyed so you could put normal pulleys on them to make a 3 speed.

You would also need all the 110 clutch mechanism, 3 speed clutch pulls up on the belt, variable pulls down.
