1070 Mile Road Trip

Recommended Posts

I drove from Ohio to Connecticut on Saturday to pickup a Sovereign with several attachments including a 46" snow blade, 36" tiller, revitalizer, 36" snow blower, wheel weights, 48" deck, and PTO vacuum collector/cart. The seller even threw in a second newer dump cart from sears.

I mainly wanted the lot for the low hour 18hp Briggs Vanguard to replace my 16hp single Briggs. I'll probably sell of a few of the attachments since I now have duplicates. Not that it's a bad thing! :D

In total it was 1070 miles of driving in one day. It was 22 hours start to finish. Fortunately my dad was able to ride along and was a huge help. The seller was fantastic and couldn't have been any more accommodating.

I was able to see first hand what a bad bevel gear box is like. This one is toast! sm00 I don't think words can even describe banging/grinding sounds like this thing does! OO

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
