OK...IT DID FIT....

BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE MOWER DRIVE BELT WILL NOT STOP.

THE BELT WAS REAL LOOSE WHEN I PUT IT ON THE ENGINE PULLEY AND IT TIGHTENED WHEN I ENGAGED THE MOWER.WHEN I FINISHED MOWING AND DISENGAGED THE LEVER THE BELT CONTINUED TO TURN....CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT...HELP !!!!!!!

I've never had either tractor, so no experience here.

Looking at some pictures, there should be belt guides (look like heavy wire) on most of the pulleys. These should be adjusted so they are about 1/8" to 1/4" from the belt when the belt is tight (engaged)

It also looks like there is a brake pad of sorts on each spindle. Make sure those are making contact when you dis engage the deck.

And by the way, Welcome to the club :D

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
