I saw this on Craigslist Tues night, Josh was nice enough to PM me Wed "to be sure I check it out" since it's in my home town. (thanks Josh) I bought it Wed "unseen" & picked it up early today (Thurs)The ad:1965 Simplicity Landlord with a 42" Mower Deck, 42" Dozer Blade, 36" Tiller and a Grader BladeThats why I bought it unseen...it sounded too good to be true :D But thats usually because it is..?

The grader blade turned out to NOT be Simplicity (but still works) and the tractor has been barn kept so no rust but it has mowed 2 acres for ages...so it's pretty beat up and seeping oil everywhere. But the tiller, snowplow and mower are in fair shape so I think it was still worth the $I really need to STOP buying projects...I think I have 8 waiting now yellsm00XX(

I don't understand how you (and Josh, and Ray, etc, etc, etc) stay married. It seems like you guys spend more time and money on your tractors than your wives. ;)

In my case Chris it's easy math...My wife likes to gamble (and does faily well sometimes) but, for each tractor/equipment I buy she gets to blow $50 on the riverboat or lottery...:D

Thanks guys, she is a ham!...if you look close she (and/or her ball) is in 50% of my outdoor pics. She's in at least 4 of these...

We play the "Wheres Waldo" game looking for her in my pics :D

She is a great dog and loves to jump in the pool. Just like a kid, we'll look outside and she's playing in the pool:O...all by herselffish I put in stairs so she can get out, the ladder was to hard

can you tell I'm a real Dog Lover!!!sm01

Does anyone recognise that Grader Blade? maybe a Wheelhorse or Toro? or just homemade?

Is VERY stout, weighs about 80lbs! and I like the way it pivots, on a lg pin behind the blade...sm01

OK here is some better pics of the Grader Blade...Any ideas of its origin? Wheel Horse, Toro, or just a red homemade from differant parts?? The blade itself seems pretty well made w/ a good cutter bar, but the rest of itsm008?

it's not wheel horse and nothing i have ever seen . homemade hitch with maybe a rear back blade or a cut down snow blade. never seen a center grader with a removable cutter edge

Your right Perry, I didn't even think about the cutter bar. I'll bet it was some type of rear blade it's too heavy to be a snow/dozer blade. it is over 1/4" thick.I may try to refab it better or use it for ??? ANY IDEAS GUYS?What can I use it for or make from it besides a grader?
