RBT Deal of the day.

Well, I was feeling a little left out the past several weeks with everyone getting real bargins on tractors and extras so in order to fill my need for a bargin I hunted down this wonderful pair of RBT's. Only the 7016H has the original 16hp briggs engine and it runs perfect with NO smoke and cuts AWESOME. Owner said it would not start and run...WRONG! The other frame is a parts frame with a shuttle rear end that was a transplant. I got a real nice deal for both ....could not pass them up!After a tire swap and a few parts removed, the empty frame will go to scrap. The 7016 will go on CL next spring.

You are correct....I did see someone asking about shuttle gears. Not sure I want to do a complete tear down to get at them gears but would be a real good time to learn a little about shuttle drive.

The planetary gears are the assy on the right side. it has the round dome shape cover over the lube/inspection hole by the right tire...pretty easy to get to that one at least sm01

Greg,

Glad you could hook up another member.

I had a chance to cut extensively with this late 70s mower today....WOW! Very impressive tractor with an AWESOME cut! I may have to keep this one.
