Plastic Hood Repair>>>>>>>>>>

Recommended Posts

A dead branch fell on my garden tractor's plastic hood and it broke bad. Some pieces the wind blew away and I could not find them.

Does anyone have any tips for repairing a plastic hood?? (Besides buying a new one).

I looked at a kit made by Bondo that had the fiberglass matt and filler with it.

Well, also there is fiberglass window screen I could use with epoxy???

Any ideas???

.

....I have repaired Plastic Snowmobile Hoods successfully

with CPVC Cement and Glass Matt on the inside.....

....Depending on how big the "missing pieces" are, maybe

Bondo could fill the void over the Glass Matt layer below...

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
