Wonder Boy - Update and Part needed

I started this about 6 months ago and finally got back to working on it...I had one of these when I was a kid and picked this one up for $60. It was in real bad shape. Must of sat outside for 15 years or better. Lots of rust and pitting. Paint is A\C orange and corporate white. Not trying to make it a show piece, but a decent looking user. Original motor seems to be in good shape, have a coil ordered for it that should put it back in order.Need to get tires and belts, and I also need one spindle spring which NLA - If anyone out there has one of these I would like to buy it! A picture of the spring I need is at the bottom. Thanks,Dave

I don't have a spring either, but I do have a Wonder-boy. Mine is the 606 Super which is a few years newer than yours. Mine was also very rusty and well used; needed all new belts and one tire. The deck was frozen with rust but eventually freed up after a PB bath. Painted mine AC orange and cream.

Mine runs and drives but I haven't tried cutting grass with it. It was last winter's project and I think it's so neat I may just keep it for my grandsons.

Re: the spring--- do you have a part # for it? I got a NLA bushing and several belts by googling the #, and also try searching eBay by part #.

I like the joystick wonderboy. Really unique. Good luck wih it!
