Here in southern New Jersey, ads for JD, CC, Scotts(HD), TroyBilt(Lowes), and of course Craftsman(Sears) appear in the printed media. Occasionally, JD and CC even run TV spots. However, advertising for Simplicity products is non-existent. Does Simplicity advertise in other parts of the country..?

Guess when you go for a ride in the summer and see all the Simplicity equipment around, that says it. By the way, how is the better half's car coming??? Got it ready for Xmas for her? Figured you were working on it since you haven't been on for few days. M. Kerr

Our local dealer runs an ad almost daily in the Richmond, IN newspaper. Usually about a 3" square ad. Never any separate flyers. The ads are different every couple weeks or so. Brent

Ads for both area dealerships run pretty much all year in the area weekly advertising papers.

I didn't even know what Simplicity was until I found this site. With only one dealer in Louisiana, advertising is totally nonexistant down here. Kevin S.

Nothing in NY. You can't get away from Sears ads. Woody

Lack of an active, good marketing program is one reason Simplicity is outsold by JD, etc. Unfortunately, marketing determines which products survive and which ones die instead of product quality. My 2 cents worth. Roy

I have seen ads on TV for Simplicity, although not recently, here in Ohio. The ad basically tries to sell the "lawn striping" Simplicity mowers are capable of, and shows a grounds keeper mowing a little league diamond with a Legacy. The little leaguers are amazed at how professional their ball field looks. Otherwise, there are several local dealers who advertise in numerous newspapers. DaveM

It seems to me quality products do very little advertising. I've noticed this for many years....MPH
