I have replaced the bearing on the shaft collar. Timken x908cc.Now while I have the clutch out I would like to replace the clutch bearing, but I don't know how to get the bearing out of the clutch. There is a keyed sleeve holding the bearing and clutch together. What is the best way to remove the old bearing without destroying it. I have a replacement bearing but would like to if it will work first. 40mm x 17mm x 72mm NACHI 6207-40 NSL .I need advice on how to remove the old bearing. Thanks Mike

I see the snap ring. If I take it out can I just bang the whole thing on the table and it will fall out or do I have to heat it. I see no way to grab on to it.

Thanks for the reply

Mike
