Well, last weekend was fun. Went up to Crown Point, Indiana for a Tractor show. Took My 38 JD G. got to play on a couple Rumely's. Got the wife to do some plowing with the G. and somewhere in there i Found time to go up into Michigan to pick up a simplicity 3112 with 48" deck, snowblower, 2 sets of chains, all shields and rods. Paint is all original accept for the wheels. Then since I was only 30 min south of Josh, had to go upto his house and get a B110 since i wanted to put a AC seat on the Simplicity. He also had a set of rear wheel weights with original paint on them. So many thanks to Josh for the extra's. Plans for the simplicity involve putting my original wheels and tires on it from my HB212 since they are still original paint. Then add the weights and front hubcaps. also plan to take it apart to service any wearable parts, give it a good cleaning and wax and reassemble. Should turn out to be a real nice machine. runs and works great now. just needs a little tlc. The side discharge shield for the deck was hung on the wall in the 60s and just taken down when i bought it. The guy bought it new and passed away 4 years ago. a bit of a mess dealing with the family. They originally wanted $1800 for it. I ended up paying $900 which is borderline high, but hey they are getting hard to find in such nice condition and it did have a new battery. Hopefully pics to come in a month or so as i have time to get working on it.

And the Big Rumely E came from that Auction in New York a couple weeks ago. Winning Big was $200,000. was pretty kick butt sitting up on it.

Did that come out of the Ertl (sp?) auction in Canandaigua ??

Unbeleivable amount of old iron from one man

That would be where it came for. Buddies of mine own JK tractor restoration and they are always going to those auctions as their customers seems to have unlimited amounts of money. they bought that rumely for a customer in california. They took it to the shop and are doing some work to it before it gets shipped out.

Nathan...I would have put money on the fact that you had brought the gooseneck for that B110. I would have lost, and I'm shocked! Did you borrow a smaller trailer? ;)

In all seriousness, folks have shown up to load larger ones....

lol, i did borrow a smaller one, but it came close to bringing the gooseneck. luckily a friend let me borrow a small one so not to waste so much gas. that 32' gooseneck weighs 8k empty .

Nathan that Simplicity & attachments look even better in the nice bright pics! I wish I coulda stayed at that show longer.

I too think the Rumleys are awesome. If you buy a Rumley that moves you to "the next level" of collecting sm01

I seem to always gravitate toward the unstyled look. Kinda like they made those for the farmer that had a lower budget.

I also like the way you can park the tricycle tractors to save space.

Your 3112 looks mighty nice there, and nice striping as well.dOddOddOd
