Last cut of the year.

I last cut my grass on Sept 18th. On the 23rd I went in for a right knee replacement. Of course the ensuing 5 weeks have been the best grass growing weather of the whole season. Today I ventured out with the BigTen to do battle with the overgrown mess I call a yard. Tractor worked awesome. Cut heavy growth 6 to 8 in. grass in second gear without plugging discharge or bogging down blades.I did however have one minor problem.I didn't realize the left arm rest pad had fallen off till I found it with the mower on the next round.:(!. Knee seems to have held up OK even with all the gear shifting to mow around all my shrubs and trees....Dave

looks good. Hope your knee keeps improving so you can keep cutting.

For cutting grass around stuff you should look for a hydro. After getting the 3314 going the B-112 lost it's mowing job.

Marty; I have a hydro. My 919H has been my main mower for 19 years but it blew the crankshaft seal on the second cut of the year and I havn't got around to fixing it yet. I think I will have to rering it as there seems to be a lot of crankcase pressure buildup. Vent is clean and clear. I can't complain about it as this is the first repair needed since I began using it.I also have a 3314H that may end up as a mower tractor. Not sure yet...Dave

I'll have a deck on for at least another few weeks, for leaves, if nothing else. Snow doesn't really stick around here till at least Thanksgiving, though this morning I had 3" of snow on top of 3" of downed leaves. What a mess.

If my lawn ever looked like that - I'd realize I'd gone out & gotten drunk & woke up in somebody else's yard.

Dave, hope you get the knee back to 100% quick.

Are you still planning on coming to florida this winter?

Taking my HB-212 to it's first local show this sat.
