What do you do when you can't find parts?

The funny part is the fact that I tried to make up the right side cover first.:D

The hard part will be doing just as good a job on the other one.

The sheet came from my local TSC. 14g 8x24" for like $9.00.

You call D-10 Allis and just have him make you a new tractor from scratch!

No,,,, Greg's correct.

Trailer phase 3 may commence next week.

I would like to get new springs and fenders, maybe next year.

I sctually need to use the trailer here in a week and a half, or so.

I have some plowing to do in Dad's garden.

Original question: What do you do when you can't find parts? My answer: Call bear and take a walk thru the parts barn, then if I don't find what I need, make it. :):D

Tim, when you are up this way, stop in and see him. It is a good way to enjoy an hour or two, and yes, he has alot of stuff.

I have an "Armstrong" bender.

I used the edge of my steel top table.

I made the offset bends with the 4"x8" piece of scrap I cut off the end of the sheet.

I used an orange plastic hammer to pound everything out and to keep the creases straight.

For some of the pounding, I c-clamped the sheet to the table.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
