Xenon strobe for visibility

I am thinking of mounting one of these on the rear of the seat pan across from where I have my rear-facing floodlight.

I go out on highly traveled roads to plow and I think a strobe would be a good safety measure.

Has anyone else installed one and how has it worked out?

The led ones don't throw a lot of light but can be seen very well!

Thinking of one of those Xenon ones instead of LED.

A friend of mine mounted one on the roof of his cab.

He said the neighbors complained, but the bad part

after having it blinking and reflecting off the snow

he started getting sick to his stomach.

His was white and really bright, if it was amber or

red it might make a difference.

Scott, they take a lot of juice. That's why I suggested the led. They are brighter and take next to nothing from the charging system...
