If you are buying new ones, just give them the tire size, such as 23 X 10.5-12. If you are buying used, you can measure how tall your tire is, multiply by 3.14 and this is the circumferance of the tire. Chains should be a bit shorter than this because they hang down the sides. For the width, chains should be the width of the tire plus at least 3 inches to let them hang down the sides. These are approximate measurements, the best way is lay the chain over the tire and see how it fits.
