Snowblower lift helper spring

Recommended Posts

Has anyone ever used the snowblower lift helper spring on a Sovereign with hydraulic lift? I just thought that with the spring, the snowblower would probably lift more squarely instead of hanging down low on the left side. I know it helps quite a bit on a tractor with manual lift but was just concerned it would look stupid to use on a hydraulic lift tractor.

Dan, I always just welded the hitch tighter where it meets the front axle. It will hang almost perfect then.

id="quote">Can you elaborate where and what area you welded ? Its always bothered me that it hangs low on the left side, although she never minded.......lolThanksF&F

When I used a blower on my 7118 with a hydraulic lift, it came with a spring on the left sign. While I purchased the tractor used, it did appear to be from the factory.
