I got loaded in Michigan on Sat.

I took a nice 1 hour drive up to Niles, Mi on Sat to collect on 2 Craigslist deals...My 1st stop was to pick up a Simplicity 3012 with Hydrolift and a 48" deck. I saw it on CL for $150 and snagged it the 1st day. The owner held it for me till Sat. This is dirty but very solid and straight & the deck is like new.

Then I had to make room for stop #2...This guy was selling off everything he had left. 7013 with a blown engine, a very good snowblower, Vac blower and some of the ducting & a nice 42" deck

Nice grab for sure! I felt the opposite of you...sick with the flu and was entering day 3 of laying wood flooring. My guts and knees were begging me for mercy...I smiled when I saw your 'selfy' picure!

The hitch is a dozer hitch for a small frame tractor.

"Small frame hitch"? Thanks sm01Is there a demand for those? If nobody needs it I may make a grader blade hitch from it. or maybe a rear back-blade hitch...?

These are kinda "middle waters" here in "Michiana" a bit north for me and south for Josh sm01 but Ray was only 40 mins away, I wanted to pop in to check out that awesome "new" AC resto in person but it gets dark so early now...maybe next time sm01This area MUST be populated with Simplicity lovers...The seller of this 3012 Sovy said that he got tons of calls.A couple callers offered him more $ to give it to them }:) instead of me...Kinda dirty, but luckily the seller was honest/honorable

I got loaded in Michigan once. Ok...more than once. I think it's a pre-requisite to get loaded if you go to Michigan...or...anywhere close to that "school up North".

Greg,

Great robbery!

That hitch, looks very much like a hitch for a 42" snow/dozer blade (3 position).

Good luck with all those (You love it) paint projects coming up!dOd

Greg, to answer your question about 'demand' on the hitch...I'd say no. Go ahead and use it as you will. I've even found it easier to sell a 42" dozer with no hitch at all, versus pictured with the small frame hitch. I think that hitch just confuses people, and nobody is beating my door down to get setup to push snow with a Broadmoor. ;)

I picked up my Serf in Niles around this time last year...guy was a stranger and called me up out of the blue. Still don't know who gave him my info. It's a hike for me. It's 30 miles closer to home than your place, but the drive time is nearly the same. It's all interstate to LaPorte, but all back roads to Niles. Nice area though and the state's best burgers are near there, in Decatur...Laura's Little Burger Joint.

Mark, I think we're almost officially 'Ice-Fishin' up here now. Even had our fair share of snow already this year. Late fall into winter has historically been the best time, IMO, to pick up CL deals. It won't be long and I'll be munchin those little, lightly fried bluegill fillets...always taste best through the ice.
