any one have a source for the starter switch used in the Landlord and B series FDT's? the number I find is 2122046 but Jack's lists it as NLA and Sandy Lake finds nothing.

looks like the headlight switch in my 58 T-Bird

I think what you have is to kill the ignition or to energize a starting relay. the FDTs use an on-off switch for the ignition and a mechanical switch that you mash in to close the starting circuit and it pops back out when you take your hand off it.

no key so I don't think that is the right switch but thanks

Type this # in Ebay, 181679M1 starter switch. There's at least 4 listed right now. It says it's for a Massey Ferguson but worked in my 63 Broadmoor. Hope this helps

Sort of but with a lot higher amperage for turning over a starter & has 2 terminals for the starter battery cables. The button just pushes in & pops out when you release (spring loaded) not like a dimmer switch that just clicks in & out.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
