found a Sno-Bee

Recommended Posts

GLPointon

A few months ago I got a 5hp Sno-Bee (later model orange & white) But Sat. I found this AC built 7hp Sno-Bee up in Chicago. Some surface rust but in solid condition. Seller said it runs good but has 2yr old gas in it now...

Yeah, that would be real neat for the GOTO! I've been tempted a few times on the early variety with the drift cutters...I think they look neat. I finally gave away my last walk behind blower to a member here...I need more room. :o

Ditto...I am envious of those with pole barns and large garages.

They are a well made machine but the drive belts are a pain to change. They are the same as a Simplicity Sno Away. My model is from 1965. I believe yours is a year or two newer as it has the BumbleBee decal which is different than mine and also the 7 under it which mine does not have. If you are interested I have 3 PDF files I could email to you. Two are specific to the 1967 model and one is the parts manual from 1967 to 1979. All are for Simplicity walk behind blowers...Dave

They did Marty but it was only one design of several. My parts PDF shows 21 different models between 1967 and 1979. Two were of the design with the impeller running in the same rotation as the rotor....Dave

Dave the belt on my last one (below) is a pain also. I had to almost split the whole thing in half to get it on. (THAT is when yoy buy the best belt made!) This one is a good runner and has the electric starter too but I traded it to Nathan.
