Replacing muffler

Viva-la-B-110

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

On the last leaf mulching of the season the end of the muffler blew off on my B110. It looks to be the original. I've bought a replacement and have been slowly working towards getting the old one off using PB Blaster and a lot of patience but I haven't had much luck. Any tips?

Thanks!

Heat! Some guys cut it off and use a file to cut a line or two and chisel them out. Run it good and hot, carefully hit it with penetrating oil, and put a pipe wrench up against the block on the pipe. I have always had luck doing it that way.
