diesel motor

does anyone know if allis or simp put a diesel motor on a garden tractor? single piston. if so does anyone know were i can get on?

The only diesel I know of is the Lombardini distributed by Briggs & Stratton. Those were available in the 7790 and 920 GTs. I believe other diesels were available in the larger "imports". Just like all other used equipment, they're "around". Just keep an eye open. Dave Christensen had one for sale a couple of months ago.
