Bracket help

ok tried the relining of front pto clutch again and it lasted even less time than the first.

put on a plow blade that I had picked up over a year ago with the rod to adjust the angle from the seat. I do not have the bracket that the rod is held in place on the tractor and was wondering if someone has a good pic as to what it looks like and where and how it mounts.

3416H 46" dozer blade 990749 is the best I can tell on the mfg of the blade

thanks mike

Huffy's post "measurements please"

shows the bracket.

It mounts in a hole or existing bolt on the side of the tractor.

If you have one laying around, you can use a large eye bolt.

The link is for the bracket for a B-series tractor, you are wanting one for a Simplicity 3416 if read your post correctly. It seems to me those use a bracket mounted on the frame but I can't locate a pic just yet. Maybe someone else has a pic.

This bracket is also shown in the reference post with dimensions:

Angle_Rod_bracket_002.jpg

It was used for some RBTs, not sure which ones. I have one on my Homeltie T-12.

I could be wrong, but my guess is this bracket's dimensions are not critical. My 3410 came with a plow which had an adjusting rod, and my take on the setup was anything that holds the rod horizontal and doesn't interfere with something else will work.

That said, the bracket pictured in this thread looks like the one that was on my tractor.

Don,

I agree that dimensions are critical.

Based on posts, I believe the "FDT" simple bracket will also work if you can bolt it somewhere where it doesn't interfere with something else.
