Just an update, got the grille on today. waiting for the weather to break so I can get the gas tank, hood, and embilem for the front grille painted.

You have done an beautiful job of restoring your tractor. I copied your before and after pictures as an incentive for me to do a better job when I work on my tractors.

id="quote">Thanks for all the kind words! The seat pan is origonal but the cover I got from ebay. Someone makes them specifically for these tractors. The padding is sewn into them. It just ties on with a draw string. It is a nice product and reasonably priced. It was really the only option I had, their was nothing left ot the origonal cover.

You have to get cans from all of the same batch number or you will end up with signifigant differences in the color shade. I learned this the hard way. the paint came out ok, but I will probably never use that paint again.

Im doing one now with nason single stage urathane. I used the darker persian orange and added a little red to the mix to get my desired color. I hope to shoot the frame this week.

Got to try it out and test the engine under a load. It cuts nice as a simplicity does!
