I don't know if anybody knows about this already, but I was searching online, and I came across this.

go to http://www.searstractormanuals.com/ , then click on the "Engine / Trans" link in the menu on the left. When the list opens, check out the first 2 entries on the left "briggs & Stratton Early Models #1 & #2

It's not something you'll be able to print, one is about 80 pAges, and the other is over 300. Hope this helps.

      Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options.
